Train to design, manage, and evaluate public health programmes that protect and improve the well-being of entire populations — from district health offices to national policy.
The Diploma in Public Health (DPH) prepares graduates to address health challenges at the population level — going beyond individual patient care to tackle the social, environmental, and systemic factors that shape community health outcomes. This program is ideal for individuals passionate about disease prevention, health promotion, and health systems strengthening in Malawi and across Africa.
Students will gain a strong grounding in epidemiology, biostatistics, health policy, environmental health, and programme management. Through real-world fieldwork placements with government health departments, NGOs, and district health offices, graduates emerge ready to lead meaningful change in public health practice.
